Spencer
Conte is a unique individual who has achieved much during his high school career. He has learned much in his life and has
been taught many lessons and values which he upholds in his life today. He believes very deeply in these values and works
hard to always strive to be better than he is.
He has
gotten many values from his friends and family. He learned the value of hard work from working with his father and grandfather.
From them he also learned dedication and ethics. Spencer learned patience from his mother. He also learned never to give up
on something from her too. From his friends he developed his sense of humor and he became a person who makes a great team
member.
Spencer’s
school life has also taught him much. He has learned how to communicate and get along with other people. He also has applied
his perseverance to his studies and currently has above a 3.7 Grade Point Average on a 4 point scale. This also shows that
he is an intelligent individual. He also has applied his teamwork to school and in one situation received first place in Business
Professionals of America’s Regional Competition for the event of Small Business Management.
Outside
of school, Spencer has become involved and accomplished many things. He earned his Black Belt in Taekwondo through his hard
work, dedication, and commitment. He currently plays soccer on a team where he is constantly challenging himself to do better.
In the summer of 2005 he played in the Umbro International Cup tournament in Manchester, England.
He also regularly attends mass at his local church and has visited and been involved in activities with other churches.
He has
one year left in high school where he will challenge himself to use that year and be that much better when he begins his college
experience. This will better prepare him for college and even what comes next. In college he plans on studying medicine, political
science, or government. His future goals include becoming a dentist, a senator, a governor, or even President of the United States.
